Does it work offline?
Yes — fully offline, with no account, ads or analytics. Only an optional What’s New feed makes a single cached fetch at launch.
What’s free and what’s paid?
Twenty-six tools are free, for good: every network tool, the glossary, the microphone, fibre and EDID references, and all 56 lessons of the AV course — no account, no trial, no ads. One one-time unlock (€24.99) adds the other 35: the audio, light and video calculators, six measurement instruments that read your microphone and camera, three generators, and the colour-mixing reference. You can also unlock a single discipline instead of the whole lot. No subscription, ever.
Are the camera tools accurate?
Color Meter and Flicker Scanner use the camera and calibrate per device. The built-in mic spectrum is indicative, not a compliance-grade SPL meter.

Both, native, at parity.
Can I lay out my own screen?
Yes. The LIVE tab is a dashboard you build — pin tools and widgets, then long-press to drag, resize, add or remove them.
