01 — Definition
The industrial 'commando' connectors of AV power. Colour and pin count encode the supply: blue = single-phase 230 V (3-pin — L, N, E), red = three-phase 400 V (5-pin — L1, L2, L3, N, E). The current rating is set by physical size — 16, 32, 63, 125 A — and the clock position of the earth contact stops incompatible voltages from mating. Rated IP44 to IP67 for outdoor use.

Never adapt a red (three-phase) connector onto a blue (single-phase) with a home-made lead: you can land 400 V across gear expecting 230 V. Match colour, amperage and pin count exactly, and use only rated CEE-to-CEE adaptors, never a bodge.
