Dante / AES67 Interop
01 — Definition
How Dante reaches out to non-Dante gear (Ravenna, Q-SYS, some broadcast infrastructure): by carrying AES67 flows. The mode is enabled device by device in Dante Controller, provided the same PTP clock domain and the right multicast address range have been set on both sides. These AES67 flows are always multicast and always 48 kHz, and they leave Dante's device names and automatic routing at the door.

Bridging Dante to a Q-SYS core over AES67 works — but you lose Dante's plug-and-play discovery: you subscribe by hand, by multicast address. Start by setting an identical PTP domain on both networks, or the clocks will never lock.
